WHO WE ARE

The Connecticut Money School (CMS) is a program of the CT Association for Human Services (CAHS). Since 2009, CMS has successfully provided free financial education for over 3000 CT residents, including low-middle income adults, seniors, and youth. Our free financial workshops have been held at over 65 locations throughout the state in response to the growing demand of the communities we serve. Our workshops are facilitated by a team of skills-based volunteers who specialize in financial services, planning, and products.

WHAT WE DO

CMS collaborates with organizations throughout the state to provide free financial education. We offer workshops which cover the following topics:

In Fairfield County, CMS also provides free financial coaching for residents of Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Stamford. More information is available here.

WHEN & WHERE DO WE OFFER THE WORKSHOPS

CMS workshops are offered year-round, but are most frequently available during the Fall (September – December) and Spring (March – June) at nonprofit organizations throughout CT including public libraries, community centers, senior centers, churches, and community colleges.
